Job summary

Optimize Recruitment is partnering with a well-established hospitality client in Limerick to appoint an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager. You will drive commercial performance, oversee corporate, leisure, events and group segments, and support a major property refurbishment and growth phase.

You will report to the General Manager and work with the commercial team to maintain and grow existing business, while identifying new revenue opportunities and leading digital marketing initiatives,

Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing Management role, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in achieving budgeted sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Conduct face-to-face sales meetings and deliver tailored presentations to prospective clients.
• Develop and manage relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
• Undertake telesales activity with both existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor and analyse competitor activity at local and regional levels.
• Carry out market research and analyse business performance metrics to identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Review and enhance the property's online presence across platforms.
• Coordinate marketing collateral, imagery and photography requirements.
• Maintain and develop a detailed client database and support direct marketing initiatives.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns including PPC and e-marketing.
• Develop and oversee social media strategies and content plans.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
• Produce weekly sales and marketing reports and track performance against objectives.

Sales & Marketing Manager Location: Limerick Optimize Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established hospitality client in Limerick in the appointment of an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hotel entering a significant period of growth and transformation, with substantial investment currently being made across the property, including the refurbishment of public areas, conference and banqueting facilities, as well as the bar and restaurant offering. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance and supporting the next phase of the hotel's development. Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the wider commercial team, the Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing business, while identifying and securing new revenue opportunities across corporate, leisure, events and group segments.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Sales & Marketing Management position, ideally within hospitality.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with senior leadership.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own transport.
