Job summary

Smyths Toys is hiring Sales Assistants for a temporary contract at our Blanchardstown store. You will provide a high level of customer service, identify customer needs, and operate in a fast-paced team environment. The role includes shelf replenishment, price updates, and tills operation.

The ideal candidate has retail experience, flexibility to work 7 days a week, and a positive, friendly attitude. Competitive hourly pay and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Retail experience in broad categories such as Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, Backdoor/Warehouse is desirable.

Responsibilities

About The Role

This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay of €14.25 per hour for over 20 and €13.00 per hour for under 20.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers' needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers

Retail experience in the following areas is highly desirable, but not essential:

Our stores are open 7 days a week so we need our Sales Assistants to be as flexible as possible.
