Job summary

Kilkenny Design is seeking a Sales Assistant for a fixed-term, part-time position in Kilkenny City. The role runs from September 2026 to January 2027, with 4 to 20 hours per week and a flexible schedule across weekdays and weekends.

You will deliver exceptional service, maintain store standards, and contribute to sales targets as a Kilkenny brand ambassador. Applicants must be available across the week due to a rotating daytime roster.

• You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for our values and the Kilkenny brand.
• Have great communication and organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly, and ensuring general store standards and stock replenishment are carried out/maintained.
• Be collaborative in your nature, and thrive as part of a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
• Maximise the sales potential of your area and enjoy the thrill of achieving sales targets.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have full flexibility and availability across the working week. Daytime hours rostered on a rotating schedule including weekdays and weekends.
