Job summary

Polonez LTD is seeking energetic Sales Assistants to join our Ireland-wide stores. You will handle deliveries, assist customers, and keep shelves well stocked while supporting the Store Manager in daily operations.

We value experience in Deli or fresh foods, strong communication, and teamwork. Flexibility is required, including weekends and bank holidays. Polish/Ukrainian/Romanian language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in Deli or other Fresh Food Retail.
• Conversational English language level is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt, prioritise tasks, and handle unexpected situations.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to learn, self-development, and a desire for success while contributing to a positive team environment and promoting our brand.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in one of the Eastern European languages (Polish, Ukrainian, Romanian, Lithuanian, Croatian, etc.) is an advantage.
• Full flexibility is required, including the availability to work on day shifts: 5 days a week from Monday to Sunday, which may include bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• As a Sales Assistant, you’ll assist with receiving deliveries, respond to customer inquiries, maintain well-stocked shelves, and support the Store Manager in daily store operations.
• You’ll help drive customer service, promote products, and contribute to a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.
