Job summary

Lush in Cork is hiring a Sales Assistant for the seasonal, part-time role. You will greet shoppers, share product knowledge, run demonstrations, and hand out samples to tailor recommendations.

You’ll support the team, manage stock, and help create in-store events while striving to meet sales targets. The hourly rate is €15.40, with living wage commitments in Ireland.

The role In this role, you’ll be the face of the store, welcoming customers and providing a fun, engaging shopping experience. You’ll use your product knowledge to offer personalised recommendations, perform product demonstrations, and hand out tailored samples. Working closely with your team, you’ll help drive sales, exceed targets, and create memorable in-store events that keep customers coming back. You'll also manage stock, ensure the shop floor looks its best, and adapt displays to seasonal trends. With flexible shifts, a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage, and opportunities for bonuses, you’ll be well-supported through training and development to grow your skills.

Good to know: We require full availability on Monday, Thursday and weekends for this role. We expect to run another recruitment drive next month for other availabilities.

This role involves lifting and moving stock as one of the prime duties.

Customer Experience: You are focused on giving your customer a terrific shopping experience. You will take time to listen and ask questions so you can show the products you think they will truly love. You will demonstrate these on the customer so they understand the features and benefits of each product and they can make the best decision for themselves. You will take that extra time to say thanks for visiting us.

Teamwork: We want a 'can do' attitude, someone who likes being part of a team and making the day easy!

Communication: Great communication is key- in your consultations with a customer, within the team and with the store management team. You need to be confident to let us know what you need to do this role to the best of your ability, and you need to be mature in receiving feedback that helps you to learn and improve.
