Job summary

Holland Safety is seeking a Health & Safety Consultant to provide expert guidance to clients in managing safety needs. The role is based in Dublin with travel across Ireland and Northern Ireland, requiring strong communication and knowledge of Irish health and safety laws.

You will develop safety management systems, conduct audits and risk assessments, and prepare detailed client reports. A Level 8 qualification and relevant certifications are preferred, with a valid driving license for

Qualifications

• Level 8 Health & Safety qualification or equivalent is required.
• Additional Health & Safety certifications are advantageous.
• Train the Trainer qualification is desirable.
• Membership of a recognised health and safety body is desirable.
• Full, clean driver’s license with flexibility to travel across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve Health & Safety Management Systems, including safety documentation, method statements, and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections across diverse sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
• Prepare and present detailed safety reports, including gap analysis, recommendations, and action plans for ongoing client improvement.
• Provide on-site safety management, overseeing project-specific requirements and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Develop and manage ISO-related documentation to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards.
• Advise clients on regulatory compliance, best practices, and emerging trends, fostering proactive safety strategies.
• Monitor legislative updates, industry standards, and innovations, helping clients stay ahead of regulatory changes.
• Engage with external authorities and enforcement agencies when required

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Irish health and safety laws and regulations, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop tailored safety strategies that enhance workplace safety and drive client success. The role is based in Dublin, with travel throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
