Job description

I'm currently supporting a leading provider of outsourced Health & Safety services with the search for two experienced and dynamic Health & Safety Advisors to join their growing team.

If you're passionate about helping businesses stay safe, compliant, and confident in their Health & Safety management, this could be the perfect next step in your consultancy career.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, fast-growing consultancy operating across Ireland, including Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including main contractors and subcontractors within the construction sector, providing practical, commercially focused Health & Safety advice.

The Role

As a Health & Safety Advisor , you'll deliver a high-quality, cost-effective Health & Safety consultancy service across a varied client portfolio.

This is a field-based, full-time Monday-to-Friday position, where no two days are the same. You could be advising a construction company on risk assessments and compliance one day, and supporting another client with an enforcement authority visit or accident investigation the next.

You'll typically visit two to three client sites per day, with travel and scheduling organised efficiently to minimise unnecessary time on the road.

A key requirement is also supporting a dedicated project in Ashbourne, which requires a full-time Health & Safety professional.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site Health & Safety visits, inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Provide expert Health & Safety advice and tailored recommendations to clients across a range of industries.
  • Support clients with accident investigations, enforcement authority liaison and crisis management where required.
  • Produce high-quality reports, documentation, risk assessments and management updates.
  • Deliver Health & Safety training, guidance and practical implementation support.
  • Assist clients in developing, implementing and maintaining effective Health & Safety management systems.
  • Translate legislation and regulatory requirements into practical, actionable advice.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and become a valued Health & Safety partner.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues, including Business Development Managers, to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuous professional development and training.
About You

We're looking for Health & Safety professionals who combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and a genuine focus on client service.

You'll ideally have:
  • At least 1-2 years' experience working within Health & Safety, ideally in a consultancy or client-facing environment.
  • Experience working across multiple industries, with construction experience highly desirable.
  • Minimum Grad IOSH status or be actively working towards professional membership.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, compliance and best practice.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client engagement skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex Health & Safety requirements clearly and practically.
  • Strong organisational skills and the confidence to work independently in a field-based role.
  • A proactive, professional and commercially aware approach.
  • A full driving licence and the flexibility to travel to client sites across Ireland.
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary range from €40,000 – €50,000 per annum, with potential to increase depending on experience.
  • Company van or car provided, including for personal use.
  • Fuel and toll expenses covered.
  • Full-time, Monday-to-Friday working hours.
  • A varied field-based role with exposure to a broad range of clients and industries.
Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Health & Safety professional who wants to develop their career while making a genuine impact on workplace safety.

You’ll be joining a talented and supportive team that values collaboration, innovation and professional growth, while working with a diverse range of businesses across Ireland.

If you're a confident, people-focused Health & Safety professional who thrives on variety, enjoys working directly with clients and wants to take the next step in your career, I'd love to hear from you.
