Design Build Search is seeking a hands-on Safety Advisor for a civil construction project in Dundalk, with future Leinster-site assignments. You will work closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliant delivery of works.

You will develop and maintain Health & Safety Plans, risk assessments and method statements, conduct site audits, safety meetings and investigations, and travel to sites as required.

Qualifikationen

• 2-4 years' experience in a similar role within civil engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• Full clean driving licence, can drive a manual car and willingness to travel to project sites as required.

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and safety meetings, identifying risks and driving improvements.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Proactively identify safety requirements based on upcoming works and project programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive safety professional who enjoys being hands-on and site-based, working closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
