Job summary

Tigers Childcare in Coachford, Co. Cork, is hiring for a full-time leadership role in early years. Deliver high-quality care, lead your room and team to support children's development in a nurturing setting.

You’ll plan curricula with Aistear and Siolta, mentor staff, and uphold high standards of professionalism, inclusion, and safety. Garda Vetting and references required; international clearance may apply for candidates with overseas experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar early years leadership role.
• Fetac Level 6 (or recognised equivalent) in Early Childhood Education.
• Copies of qualifications and 2 written references.
• Garda Vetting (we will manage this for you).
• International police clearance if applicable (6+ months abroad).
• Leadership capability, reliability, empathy, and passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, full-time early years care and education, leading your room and team to support children's holistic development.
• Ensure curriculum planning and learning experiences align with Aistear and Siolta, maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to your team, helping them support children's development and wellbeing.
