Qualifications

Job Description

A rapidly growing renewable energy company specialising in solar PV installations and sustainable energy solutions for residential and commercial customers. As demand for clean energy continues to rise, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Roofer to join our installation team.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a future-focused industry, contributing to projects that help reduce carbon emissions while delivering high-quality workmanship to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out roofing works associated with solar PV installations. Assess roof conditions and identify any repairs required prior to installation. Remove and replace roof tiles/slates as required. Install roof mounting systems for solar panels safely and efficiently. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Work closely with electricians, solar installers, and project managers. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment on customer sites. Complete relevant job documentation and reports.

Requirements

Proven experience as a roofer. Strong knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems. Ability to work safely at height. Full clean driving licence. Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship. Good communication and teamwork skills. Valid Safe Pass, Working at Heights certification, or equivalent (desirable). Experience working on solar PV projects would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
