Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking six R&Q Associates to join the Compliance Middle Office (CMO). You will help shape and transform PwC’s risk and quality framework by supporting onboarding, KYC, independence assessments, and risk data management.

About the role:

Our growing Compliance Middle Office (CMO) presents a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping and enhancing the future of the firm’s compliance and quality framework. As a Centre of Excellence, the CMO is focused on simplifying, strengthening, and transforming risk and compliance processes across the business.

We are seeking six R&Q Associates to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in helping PwC meet its regulatory and quality obligations, supporting the systems and processes that underpin our Risk & Quality framework and contributing to the firm’s commitment to integrity, compliance, and excellence

What youwill do:
  • Creating and managing opportunities in Salesforce to support client onboarding and engagement processes.
  • Coordinating new client acceptance activities, including independence assessments and KYC requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate risk management records for existing clients.
  • Supporting entity management activities and driving data quality standards.
  • Contributing to a variety of risk and compliance initiatives across the firm.
Additional responsibilities:
  • Updating risk management and quality assurance approaches to reflect new legal or regulatory changes
  • Conducting quality reviews and identifying gaps or inconsistencies in compliance documentation
  • Acting as a key liaison between CMO teams and Engagement teams to ensure clarity and alignment on compliance expectations
  • Supporting the adoption and integration of global technologies or systems that impact risk and quality processes, ensuring smooth transitions
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as required
Who we are looking for:
  • Experience in Compliance, Risk, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or a related field would be an advantage
  • Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy, data quality, and adherence to established processes.
  • Ability to follow structured workflows and operate effectively within quality and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • A collaborative team player who builds positive relationships and works effectively across functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other business systems, with experience of Salesforce considered beneficial.
  • A positive, proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and supporting shared team goals.

  • A minimum of a college degree is required.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to guide, motivate, and support team members while fostering a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
