Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Risk Analyst to lead the implementation of infrastructure risk management strategies at a programme level. You will develop consistent tools, oversee risk governance and provide high-quality guidance across the programme to mitigate risks and drive performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk management across large infrastructure programmes.
• Deep knowledge of designing and implementing risk management strategies and process improvements.
• Experience with risk reporting and implementing mitigation actions.
• Understanding of design and delivery requirements of complex engineering/construction projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to improve processes and guidance.
• Good knowledge of EU and Irish risk-related legislation and best practice.
• Understanding of project governance and procurement processes.

The Risk Analyst iS responsible for leading the and implementation Of the Infrastructure Risk Management Strategy at a Programme level and for ensuring the development and implementation of consistent and effective risk management tools, techniques, processes and standards across Infrastructure, in line with the Contracting Entity's policies and procedures and industry best practice.

The Risk Analyst will drive excellence in risk management activities and demonstrate significant expertise in this area, ensuring provision of timely and high—quality information, guidance and specialist advice on risk management across the programme.The role holder will ensure processes are in place, adhered to and continuously improved to ensure that they are embedded and connected to all key stakeholders.

Functional Requirements Standards & Performance

• Lead and manage the implementation of consistent risk management tools and techniques, processes and Standards, in line with the Contracting Entity'spolicies and procedures and industry best practice and these within the wider programme controls framework across the Programme.
• Apply advanced knowledge in the technical/professional discipline of risk management for the analysis and resolution of issues within a projects and programmes framework, including benchmarking against best practice and implementing innovative solutions.
• Work with the delivery team to understand the risk profile of the programme, to develop robust risk management, mitigation and contingency strategies, and to elevate significant risks using agreed governance mechanisms as appropriate.
• Develop a set of KPIS in relation to risk performance across the and implement effectively.
• Risk Management for the programme team in carrying out Quantified Risk (QRA) and assessing risk apportionment in commercial contracts and procurements relating to programme delivery.
• Develop a risk reporting platform to support the management reporting across the Programme and tracking of the status of mitigation actions.
• Lead risk workshops, risk assessment processes and risk register reviews in conjunction with key stakeholders.
• Drive the continuous improvement of risk management processes across the Programme evaluating and challenging the organisation's management of risk & recording and monitoringfor effectiveness to ensure fit-for-purpose risk management structures and systems in place to meet good standards and needs.
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team & managing Stakeholders Lead a team of risk managers who directly support project delivery to establish a unified and high standard of output.
• Contribute to and leada positive safety culture within the Programme and ensuring the team is invested in managing and improving HSE performance through the management of risk.
• Contribute to the continuous drive towards a high-performance culture within the Programme Controls team.
• Promote and participate in knowledge share across the organisation to raise awareness of the importance of risk management and generate a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in risk management across Infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity, preferably within aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing risk management strategies and process improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience of risk reporting and implementation of mitigation actions.
• Have an in-depth understanding ofthe design and delivery requirements of technicallycomplex projects in the engineering / construction sectors
• Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery and reporting.
• Good knowledge Of EUand Irish legislation, law and best practice, in to risk management
• An understanding of project govemance and construction procurement processes
