Job summary

European Tech Recruit partners with a leading semiconductor company in Cork to recruit a RISC-V Microcontroller Design Verification Engineer. You will join the Microcontroller Sub-System IP team to enable embedded processing across IoT, Mobile, Auto, XR and Compute products, focusing on security and power management of SoC functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years of ASIC design verification experience, preferably with UVM-based work.
• Familiarity with ARM or RISC-V ISA verification and SystemVerilog is essential.
• Experience with formal verification tools (Jasper/VC_Formal) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy UVM and Formal Verification methodologies on complex designs.
• Create testbenches and verification components including UVCs and C models.
• Perform coverage analysis and address gaps with design teams.
• Collaborate with design, SoC and validation teams to resolve issues.
• Support system-level integration, test planning, vectors, and debugging.
