Job summary

NEC Software Solutions in Ireland is hiring for a 12-month fixed-term role within our Retinal Technicians team in Kells, Co. Meath and surrounding counties.

The role involves Eye Photography to identify retina damage from diabetes, offering a great entry into healthcare with strong team support. The position is part of a national programme, with training provided and opportunities to develop specialist skills in Retinopathy.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required.
• A Full Clean Irish driver's licence and safe place to store company vehicle.
• Passion for customer care and positive patient outcomes.
• Being IT literate is a must - Word processing, spreadsheets and regular use of Microsoft Office.
• Initiative and the ability to prioritise tasks, as well as using problem-solving skills.
• A great work ethic and a proactive approach are essential, as you'll be largely unsupervised after the initial training period.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye photography to identify retina damage caused by diabetes.
• Be part of the national programme and work with senior retinal technicians and team leaders.
• Support administration and clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.
