Job summary

Choice Stores, a proudly Irish-owned retailer, is opening a new Celbridge store and seeking a Team Leader to help launch with energy and leadership. You will work alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the shop floor.

The role blends hands-on leadership with operational focus, including coaching teammates, merchandising support, and ensuring policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a retail or team leadership role.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication ability.
• Keen to develop others and progress in retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Support store leadership and teammates in day-to-day operations.
• Coach, motivate and communicate clearly to drive performance.
• Assist with merchandising, displays and stock control.
• Ensure health & safety and company policies are followed.

Retail Team Leader – Celbridge

Your Role

As a Team Leader, you will be a vital part of the store leadership team, working alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This hands-on role blends operational focus with team support, helping to keep the shop floor running smoothly while fostering a positive, professional environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
• Partner in the day-to-day leadership and support of store team members
• Drive performance through coaching, motivation and clear communication
• Contribute to merchandising, visual standards and stock control
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and company policies
• Support key daily routines such as till checks and close up procedures
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in a retail or team leadership role preferred
