Job summary

Bidvest Noonan in Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to join our onsite team with our client. You will greet visitors, maintain front-of-house security and support the daily operations of the building.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with Building Management while ensuring smooth reception services and parking control.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar security role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors promptly and professionally.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the building.
• Maintain high service levels in reception areas and meeting suites.
• Provide staff and visitors with information and directions as required.
• Answer and route telephone calls promptly.
• Coordinate with Building Management team.
• Manage visitor car parking and allocate bays.

Job description

We are looking for a Security Officer to join us onsite with our client, you'll be someone who prides themselves in providing professional security services. Does this sound like you?

What the day to day looks like

• To meet and greet all visitors promptly, using the correct protocols to ensure that each visitor feels special and cared for
• Day to day running of building
• Ensure that an exceptional level of service is always maintained in reception areas and meeting suites, including contacting the meeting hosts
• Build and maintain a current, working knowledge of all policies, actions, systems, and developments, as well as general information, to be able to provide staff and visitors with information as required
• Ensure that the telephone is answered in a timely and professional manner and transferred to the appropriate personnel or message are taken
• To maintain close working relationships with the relevant Building Management team and to coordinate efforts
• To control car parking and ensure visitors use allocated correct parking bays

Skills & Experience required

• Do you have previous experience in a similar role would be preferred?
• Do you have excellent written and verbal communication skills?
• Do you have b asic computer literacy required?
• Do you have e xcellent attention to detail and able to respond to issues in an effective efficient manner?
