Job summary

Mitie Ireland is seeking an experienced security professional to join our Cork operations. You will help protect employees, customers and assets while maintaining a safe and secure store environment across shifts. The role involves monitoring CCTV, responding to incidents, and reporting clearly to management.

We require prior retail security experience and a valid PSA license. You will work a regular schedule, with training provided to support your duties and ensure high standards of safety and

Qualifications

• Experience in retail security operations.
• PSA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Proactively protecting employees, property and assets and ensuring store accountability.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for staff and customers while performing core duties.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and follow defined escalation processes.
• Accurately report all incidents and events.
• Monitor CCTV and recording systems across multiple sites with strong attention to detail.
• Full training will be provided.

About the role

• Proactively ensuring the protection of employees, property and assets and accountability for store assigned
• Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors whilst carrying out critical duties.
• Responding to emergency situations as they arise and following the strict documented escalation processes in a calm concise manner.
• Accurately reporting all incidents.
• Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems for multiple sites and multiple operations. Ability to multitask and have attention to detail is crucial
• Full training will be provided.

About you

• Previous Retail Security Experience
• Valid PSA License
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate without issue.
• Be dependable and available to work a regular work schedule
• Smart and presentable appearance.
