Job summary

Mitie Ireland is seeking a full-time security professional to manage access control, monitoring CCTV, and patrolling client sites at Grand Canal. You will prepare detailed incident reports and build excellent on-site client relationships.

The role requires a valid PSA license, strong customer service skills, and competent IT abilities to operate access control and surveillance systems. Shift work including days, nights, and weekends is involved.

Qualifications

• Valid PSA license is required.
• Customer service skills are essential and must be professional.
• Competent IT skills are required for access control, CCTV operation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control and visitor management.
• Monitor CCTV and on-site security systems.
• Conduct patrols to maintain a secure environment.
• Create and maintain daily incident logs and shift reports.
• Build strong relationships with on-site clients and act as Mitie ambassador.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control & Visitor Management: Oversee the safe entry and exit of all employees, contractors, and guests.
• CCTV Monitoring: Actively monitor and operate on-site security and surveillance systems.
• Internal Patrols: Conduct thorough and regular patrols of the premises to ensure a secure environment.
• Report Creation: Maintain accurate daily logs, document incidents, and generate detailed shift reports.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain excellent relationships with on-site clients, acting as a professional ambassador for Mitie at all times.

Core Requirements

• Valid PSA license
• Customer Service Skills (Required): You must be approachable, highly professional, and capable of assisting staff and visitors effectively and courteously.
• Competent IT Skills (Required): Proficiency with computers is essential for managing access control systems, operating CCTV, and drafting accurate reports.

Desirable Requirements:

• Note: previous corporate security experience is highly advantageous.
