Job summary

Mitie Ireland is seeking a Retail Security officer for a permanent role in Newbridge. You will help protect employees, property and assets while ensuring a safe environment. The position requires monitoring CCTV, incident reporting, and a calm response to emergencies.

Full training will be provided, with a regular shift pattern including evenings and weekends as specified. Fluent English is essential, and applicants should have prior retail security experience and a valid PSA license.

• Previous Retail Security experience required.
• Valid PSA License required.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensuring the protection of employees, property and assets.
• Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
• Responding to emergency situations and following escalation processes.
• Accurately reporting all incidents.
• Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems across multiple sites.
• Full training will be provided.

About the role

• Proactively ensuring the protection of employees, property and assets and accountability for store assigned
• Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors whilst carrying out critical duties.
• Responding to emergency situations as they arise and following the strict documented escalation processes in a calm concise manner.
• Accurately reporting all incidents.
• Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems for multiple sites and multiple operations. Ability to multitask and have attention to detail is crucial
• Full training will be provided.

About you

• Previous Retail Security Experience
• Valid PSA License
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate without issue.
• Be dependable and available to work a regular work schedule
• Smart and presentable appearance.
