Job summary

BoyleSports is seeking a commercially minded Lead FP&A Analyst to drive planning, forecasting and financial insight for the Retail division. You will partner with the Retail Director and leadership team across shops, regions, products and costs to drive profitability and capital decision-making.

The role is hands-on, requires deep experience in multi-site retail or betting environments, advanced Excel, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI.

Qualifications

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is desirable.
• Strong FP&A, Commercial Finance or performance analysis experience.
• Experience supporting large multi-site operations in retail or betting is preferred.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and investment appraisal capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning for the Retail division.
• Prepare forecasts for revenue, gross profit, payroll, operating costs, EBITDA and capital expenditure.
• Develop robust financial models to support planning, scenario analysis and decision-making.
• Provide variance analysis explaining key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Retail Operations, Property, Marketing and BI to improve reporting and commercial visibility.
• Deliver ROI and payback analyses for capital investments.
