Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a butcher in retail or supermarket.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running of the butcher department.
• Prepare, cut, and present a wide range of fresh meat products to a high standard.

Our client is hiring a confident and skilled Retail Head Butcher to manage their fast paced Butcher Department. The store is located on a 20 mins drive from Fermoy and 35 mins drive from Mallow. Candidates with cars are preferred due to the early morning shifts. This job requires a background managing a Butcher Shop or a retail Butcher Department for minimum 2-3 years, being excellent in customer service and ability to stand for long hours. An ideal candidate will be an excellent Team Leader and have knowledge of HACCP standards, deboning, carcass cleaning and preparing all kinds of meat. If you are someone who is passionate about running a Butcher department than this job is the right fit for you.
