Job summary

Primark in Tralee invites applications for a Retail Assistant to join our store team. You’ll help customers with sizes and styles, manage returns, and keep the shop floor tidy and inviting.

You’ll work with friendly colleagues, enjoy flexible shift patterns (Band A and Band C), and benefit from in-store discounts, pension, well‑being support, and opportunities to progress within the Primark network.

• Provide customers with an amazing experience by helping with sizes, purchases or returns.
• Keep the shop floor looking attractive with full shelves and tidy fitting rooms and stockroom.
• Deliver a fast, friendly, efficient till experience, handle queries, voids and returns.

We are looking for candidates with the below availability.

Band A (11.5-14 hours/Weekly), Band C (20-24 hours/Weekly)

Band A (Friday 5pm-9pm, Saturday and Sunday All Day)

Band C (fully flexible, earliest possible start 7am, latest possible finish 11pm)

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well‑organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
