Job summary

Primark is seeking a Retail Assistant for fixed purpose contracts in Ireland. The role requires full flexibility across all seven days, including mornings, afternoons and weekends.

Band A (11.5–14 hours/week) and Band C (20–24 hours/week) contracts are available, with a Sunday premium and a competitive hourly rate. You will help customers with sizes, styles and purchases, maintain an attractive shop floor, and process till transactions while ensuring pricing accuracy and high standards.

• Delivering fast, friendly service at till points, handling queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking new deliveries, pricing and ensuring high standards.

Retail Assistant (Fixed Purpose Contract)

We are recruiting for Band A (11.5-14 hours per week) and Band C (20-24 hours per week) contracts.

This role requires full flexibility across all 7 days of the week, including: Morning shifts; Midday shifts;Evening shifts; Lateevening shifts; Weekends; Bank Holidays and public holidays

Please note: Candidates applying for a Band C contract must be eligible and available to work more than 20 hours per week.

Due to the needs of the business, only candidates who can provide full flexibility across the above shift patterns will be considered.

What will I be doing?

As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be making our customer’s day, every day. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you help them with things like sizes or styles, purchases, or returns
• Setting up a good-looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms and all the latest fashions, as well as keeping a tidy and well-organised stockroom
• Delivering a fast, friendly, efficient experience at till points, processing queries, voids, and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products on to the shop floor and ensuring they’re all correctly priced - all while making sure everything meets our high standards
