Job summary

M&P O'Sullivan is seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee the performance and day-to-day operations of multiple stores across Ireland. This is a nationwide field-based role requiring regular travel between stores, with a company vehicle provided.

You will lead, coach and support Store Managers, monitor KPIs, and drive efficiency and commercial performance across all locations while ensuring health, safety and company policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail/wholesale/hospitality or multi-site management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with KPI experience.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel nationwide with driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and operations of multiple stores.
• Regularly visit stores to maintain operational, customer service and compliance standards.
• Lead, coach and support Store Managers and their teams.
• Monitor sales, labour, stock and other key performance indicators.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement action plans.

• Support recruitment, training and development of management teams.
• Report on store performance and operational issues to senior management.
