Enable Ireland in Nenagh seeks a Relief Respite Support Worker to provide respite for families of children with disabilities. The role involves flexible hours, including sleepovers, evenings and weekends, under PIC supervision, with a focus on individualized family support.

The post is a full-time permanent contract, 35 hours weekly, with salary between €35,771 and €43,288 pro rata per annum. A strong emphasis on training and employee wellbeing is stated.

Formación

• QQI Level 5 Childcare including module on special needs.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children with additional needs in a residential setting.
• Experience with autism and behaviours of concern.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
• Must be eligible to work in state.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respite to families of children with disabilities, coordinating with PIC.
• Sleepovers and work during evenings and weekends as required.
• Work under supervision of the PIC to tailor support for each family.
