Job summary

Crosscare, the social care agency of the Dublin Diocese, seeks a Project Worker to provide 24-hour short term residential support for adults experiencing homelessness at Cedar House. You will work on a 38.5-hour week, on a 7-day rota, delivering person-centred care to help clients secure long-term housing.

The role involves case management, collaboration with care planning teams and adherence to DRHE pathways.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or qualification as listed above.
• Experience in social care or addiction settings is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of case management and support planning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement the case management system and manage a caseload from referral to disengagement.
• Build professional relationships with service users, treating them with dignity and respect.
• Carry out residential service duties, manage referrals, and engage residents.
• Liaise with external and internal service providers to support clients.
• Work as part of a team and follow project policies to ensure high-quality service.
• Handle administrative tasks to keep the project running smoothly.
• Observe Health and Safety and contribute to ongoing quality improvement.

Education

BA Degree in Applied Social Care, Addiction, Mental Health, Nursing, Psychology, or an equivalent Level 7 qualification awarded under NFQ/QQI

Level 6 qualification in Social Care or Addiction, NFQ/QQI
