Job summary
Embrace provides residential support services for adults and children with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorder and brain injuries. We are looking for Support Workers / Health Care Assistants to join our team in our residential houses, bringing a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
Successful candidates will be flexible for day, night, and weekend shifts and will undertake Garda Vetting and background checks.
Qualifications
- FETAC Level 5 healthcare qualification or working towards it (essential).
- Full, manual Irish/EU driving licence (essential).
- Fluent in English and compassionate personality (essential).
Responsibilities
- Support residents to live fulfilled lives and learn new skills.
- Assist meal preparation and promote a balanced diet and personal choice.
- Help with personal care: toileting, bathing, showering.
- Manage personal medications and accompany to appointments when applicable.
- Keep accurate care plans and financial records.
- Attend training and team meetings with the PIC.
- Ensure a safe environment in line with Embrace policies.
