Job summary

Catering is seeking a Site Engineer (Residential) in Malahide, North Dublin, to oversee day-to-day on-site engineering and technical operations for a medium-sized residential developer currently delivering 50+ units in Malahide with further sites in the North Dublin area. The role involves setting out and surveying using total station, GPS, and laser levels, interpreting drawings, and guiding site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience on residential on-site projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying of building works using total station, GPS, laser levels, and other surveying equipment.
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and architectural/engineering details.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate site records, survey information, inspection records, and relevant documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure they are completed correctly and to programme.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures.
• Assist the management team with planning, programming, and monitoring progress.
