Job summary

Autism A Chara is seeking a Community Access Facilitator for a residential setting in Ireland. The role requires supporting adults with autism, assisting daily living, and helping participants access community resources.

Qualifications

• A full QQI level 7 Award in Social Care/Studies or degree equivalent (Social Work, Psychology).
• At least six months’ experience in social care supporting people with complex needs.
• Availability to work shifts including evenings, weekends and nights; full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities and routines.
• Help service users engage with their community and learn new skills.
• Implement and develop support plans and PCPs, following each person’s care plan.
• Ensure advocacy for rights and informed decision-making for people supported.
