Job summary

Ayesa is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee an infrastructure project in Dublin, including dewatering, condition surveys, and rehabilitation of pipelines and chambers. The RE ensures compliance with design, contract requirements, and maintains comprehensive site records.

The role requires strong reporting, coordination with the Employer's Representative, and daily supervision of construction activities along the route. Ireland residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (level 7 NFQ) or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least seven years of satisfactory experience in civil, water or wastewater engineering, including resident engineer or site supervision on major projects.
• Based in Ireland and willing to relocate at own cost; no visa or hotel expenses provided.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite including MS Project.
• Full clean Class B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day oversight of works on behalf of Employer's Representative.
• Monitor construction progress and quality against design and contract requirements.
• Review Contractor submissions and ensure proper records and certifications.
• Maintain concise site records: diary, photos, progress, inspections.
• Prepare weekly progress, quality, and programme reports.
• Coordinate with Contractor, Designer, Employer and project team to resolve queries.
