Job summary

ProSource Group is recruiting a Project or Senior Structural Engineer to join the Dublin team. The role focuses on delivering structural designs from concept to construction across temporary works, restoration, and new-build projects in a varied portfolio including Dublin Airport and luxury homes.

The successful candidate will enjoy practical problem solving on site, work with architects and clients, and take ownership of projects with support from senior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ structural design experience.
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Sound analysis and design skills with defendable decisions.
• Experience in temporary works, conservation or restoration is highly desirable.
• Site experience and understanding of construction methods would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Robot or Tekla would be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structural solutions from early concept through to construction.
• Work on temporary works, existing-building interventions, restoration and new-build projects.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Attend site, respond to construction-stage queries and develop practical solutions as works progress.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, clients and the wider project team.
• Take ownership of projects appropriate to your experience, with support from experienced directors and engineers.

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of a specialist structural engineering consultancy for a Project or Senior Structural Engineer to join its Dublin team.

This is an opportunity to focus entirely on structural engineering, with a varied portfolio spanning temporary works, restoration, conservation and bespoke new-build projects. The team’s work includes major commercial projects, works at Dublin Airport, hospitality schemes and one-off luxury homes.

The role will particularly suit an engineer who enjoys finding practical solutions to complex structural problems and seeing how their designs are built on site.

Role

Requirements

• 3+ years’ structural design experience; candidates with around 6+ yearsexperience are particularly suited to the current Project / Senior opening.
• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Experience in temporary works, conservation or restoration is highly desirable.
• Site experience and an understanding of construction methods would be an advantage.
