Qualifications

• ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation) or eligible to participate in training to become ServSafe certified.
• High School diploma or GED accepted.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred.
• One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Must be 16 years or older; in NC, 18+ if operating power-driven machines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare palatable foods that are appetizing in appearance.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitary requirements.
• Learn basic tasks and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Be pleasant, friendly and helpful at all times ensuring proper and timely service.
