Job summary

Three Steps in Ireland is seeking a Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in a residential setting. You will assist with daily living activities, promote dignity and independence, and work closely with nurses and the care team to implement individual care plans.

The role requires compassionate communication, reliability, and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Provide person-centred care and support to residents.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Follow care plans and document care records accurately.
• Work with nurses and care team to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Commitment to dignity, privacy and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support and encourage participation in social activities.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and safe use of equipment.
• Assist with meals, hydration and feeding while respecting dietary needs.
• Observe wellbeing and report concerns promptly to nurses or senior staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment and follow safety procedures.
