Applications are invited for a Post-doctoral Researcher position in advanced nanofabrication and ultrathin membrane processing. The post is funded by an industry partner (Lace Lithography) and will be employed through Trinity College Dublin while being based primarily at Tyndall National Institute, Cork.
The successful candidate will join an exciting project working on the development of nanoscale patterning of ultrathin membranes for next-generation atom-beam lithography to enable the production of future quantum, nanoelectronic and nanophotonic devices and aid the expansion of the semiconductor lithography roadmap beyond EUV.
The role combines electron-beam lithography, plasma etching, thin-film and membrane processing, and nanoscale metrology. The researcher will have access to advanced cleanroom and characterization infrastructure at Tyndall and will collaborate closely with the TCD research team and the industrial partner.
