Job summary

Elgin Energy is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support scheduling across development through construction of its renewable energy portfolio. You will develop, maintain, and track master project schedules, review contractor programmes, and provide clear reporting to project teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering or related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in renewable energy or construction.
• Expert knowledge of MS Project and MS Planner.
• Evidence of working well within a team.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management and PMO processes.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline project schedules for development-phase projects with milestones and dependencies.
• Use contractor programmes to maintain internal schedules and assess impact on milestones.
• Collaborate with project management to track and report schedules to requirements.
• Identify critical path activities and report schedule delays affecting delivery.
• Coordinate schedule management for several construction projects in parallel.
• Identify schedule risks, propose mitigations, and report deviations and impacts.
