Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking a Project Development Lead for NI & ROI to identify, secure and develop renewable energy opportunities across Ireland. You will manage local commercial networks, coordinate feasibility, and drive permitting from inception to construction readiness.

The role collaborates with Finance, GIS and engineering teams to optimize project design and PPAs. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a renewables development role, strong stakeholder relations, and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in power, renewable energy, environmental studies or related field.
3–5 years in a development role with project development track record.
Willingness to travel with a valid driver's license.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Irish renewable sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

Engage and build a strong local network with authorities, landowners, industrial clients and regional administrations.
Lead acquisition through NDAs, LOIs and exclusivity agreements to transaction completion.
Identify and assess new energy opportunities and secure land/ leases.
Manage development lifecycle from site selection to permitting and pre-construction.
Prepare tenders and support EPC negotiations and contract appendices.
