Job summary

Version 1 is seeking a Lead Architect to drive strategic technology initiatives across public sector & utilities in Ireland. You will design cloud-native solutions, oversee governance, and collaborate with business analysts, delivery teams and enterprise architects to create scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution design and architecture across database, backend, integration and UX.
• Effective influencing skills and experience engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to produce concise and accurate solution designs that align with governance processes and strategy.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure platform services, cloud-native solutions, hybrid-cloud, and migration to cloud.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead architect or work alongside other solution architects on strategic projects.
• Work with business analysts and project team members to understand requirements and define non-functional requirements.
• Design technology solutions that meet requirements and align with standards and strategy.
• Present designs to architecture governance forums for review and approval; develop roadmaps.
• Coordinate implementation with delivery teams and ensure alignment with high-level designs.
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues through teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and architecture standards and reusable patterns.
• Manage relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
