Job summary

Arista Networks, Inc. is seeking a proactive SOC Analyst to monitor, triage and respond to cyber threats across Mac, Linux and Windows environments.

You will develop detections using CrowdStrike or similar EDR tools, work with a collaborative team of SOC analysts, incident responders and DevOps to maintain a strong security posture. The role requires hands-on incident response experience, strong written communication, and the ability to perform threat hunting in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a SOC or incident response
• Hands-on with CrowdStrike or other EDR and writing queries (CQL)
• Experience triaging alerts in high-volume environments
• Familiarity with threat intel feeds and OSINT tools
• Knowledge of Mac/Linux environments with Windows as a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts across Mac, Linux, and Windows
• Develop detections and refine threat monitoring queries
• Analyze incidents including malware, phishing, and APTs using SIEM/EDR
• Proactively hunt threats and respond following IR procedures
• Document findings and provide remediation recommendations
• Collaborate with IT, Eng, and DevOps to strengthen controls
• Stay updated on threats and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Escalate incidents to Incident Response as required
