Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our remote cybersecurity team. You will monitor, triage, and respond to threats across Mac, Linux, and Windows environments, using CrowdStrike and other EDR/SIEM tooling, and writing effective CQL queries to improve detections.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts.
• Build, test, and refine detections across Mac, Linux, and Windows.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of incidents including malware, phishing, and APTs using SIEM/EDR.
• Perform proactive threat hunting using SIEM/EDR features.
• Investigate and respond to incidents following IR playbooks.
• Document findings with actionable remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and DevOps to strengthen controls.
• Stay current on threats, vulnerabilities and trends through self-directed learning.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for SOC coverage.
