Job summary

Calm is seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Consumer team to shape experiences used by tens of millions of users seeking better sleep, reduced stress, and mindful living.

You will prototype quickly with Figma and AI/low-code tools, collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing, and help establish best practices across iOS, Android, and web. Strong craft and velocity are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in UX/UI design, with 5+ years in consumer mobile and web apps.
• Proven experience driving user testing and research.
• Strong foundation in interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design initiatives across visual, interaction, motion, and brand integration for mobile experiences.
• Prototype quickly in Figma and AI/low-code tools to validate ideas early.
• Present design work persuasively to stakeholders, anchoring decisions to user needs and business goals.
• Maintain attention to detail and collaborate through engineering implementation and post-launch iterations.
• Use data and research to inform designs and evolve approaches.
• Champion system-level thinking and evolve Calm's design system.
