Job summary

Life Science Recruitment is assisting a Dublin-based client in recruiting an experienced Qualified Person (QP) for a part-time role to oversee essential quality system requirements and perform QP certification and batch release for herbal medicinal products.

The role ensures compliance with EU GMP Annex 16 and national regulations, including audit readiness and regulatory communications. Flexible working arrangements are offered within a growing health and wellness organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Person (QP) status and eligibility to act as QP under EU rules.
• Proven experience as a QP, preferably with herbal medicinal products or solid dosage forms.
• In-depth knowledge of EU GMP guidelines and Annex 16 and related QMS processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with regulators and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee batch certification and release for herbal medicinal products under Annex 16.
• Manage QMS activities including Change Control, Deviations/CAPA, and SOP approvals.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g., HPRA) to ensure audit readiness and compliant communications.
