Job summary

LED Lighting and Electrical Distribution Group Limited in Dublin is seeking a junior Lighting Designer to support the sales team with top-class lighting designs and quick turnaround times. The role offers training and development in Relux/Dialux CAD workflows, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will work within the Lighting Design Department at the head office, contributing to multiple projects and gaining hands-on experience in retail and industrial lighting design.

Qualifications

• Basic lighting design experience using Relux or Dialux.
• Level 8 Technical Graduate in Engineering or Design.
• Experience in working with CAD.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player able to work independently.
• Ability to handle large data volumes and multiple projects.
• Persistent and diligent with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD-based lighting designs and manage multiple projects.
• Provide technical and tendering support using Relux or Dialux.
• Collaborate with Sales Team to win projects.
• Translate CAD files into designs meeting specifications.
• Deliver designs within agreed timelines.
• Support tendering and procurement processes.
• Prepare reports comparing ROBUS vs competitor products.
