Job summary

HedgeServ’s IA & FinRep department in Cork and Dublin seeks an Internal Audit & Financial Reporting Manager to prepare financial statements for HedgeFund clients in US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP, under supervision of a Financial Reporting Director.

You will build relationships with Investment Managers and Auditors, chair weekly calls, develop reporting templates, resolve GAAP queries, and ensure timely delivery while applying knowledge of AIFMD, UCITs and regulatory requirements across global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (2.2 min).
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience with hedge funds/audits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or review financial statements for HedgeServ’s strategic clients in US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP.
• Coordinate year-end financial statement process and respond to queries from Investment Managers and Auditors.
• Chair weekly calls with Auditors and Investment Managers and manage reporting timelines.
• Develop templates and provide technical input on accounting interpretations.
