Job summary

Partner Company in Ireland seeks a Head of Product Development to own the full journey from customer insight to a physical consumer product. You will decide what to build, why it matters, how it should be designed and how it will perform in the market, coordinating customer research, development, manufacturing and pricing.

You will lead a product team, guide overseas factories, set priorities and refine research and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and launching multiple physical consumer products for US consumers.
• Ownership of customer insight, product and offer decisions, and measurable results.
• Minimum 5+ years in consumer products, brand or retailer serving US consumers.
• Experience with AI in research or product development.
• Excellent written English.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development from research to post-launch performance.
• Build deep customer understanding including segments, price and quality perceptions.
• Identify customer needs via reviews, surveys, interviews and testing.
• Decide which opportunities move forward, on hold or discontinue with evidence.
• Define specifications including materials, packaging, sizing and price positioning.
• Lead product analysts and production coordination resources.
• Collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners on specs and quality.
