Job summary

Flowserve is a global leader in pumps, valves, seals, and services, seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Regulatory SME to drive market strategy and regulatory alignment for pharma, biopharma, and bioproducts. The role focuses on serving as a technical authority across life sciences manufacturing, CIP/SIP, and cGMP compliance while building relationships with global manufacturers and OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotech, bioprocess, or regulated life-sciences industry.
• Knowledge of FDA/EMA expectations and global pharmaceutical regulations.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Demonstrated experience translating customer and market needs into product, commercial, or operational requirements.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to engage credibly with technical and commercial stakeholders at pharmaceutical manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators, and other industry partners.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical market, including customer decision drivers, operational challenges, and application requirements.
• Ability to develop and communicate market strategies, value propositions, and go-to-market recommendations.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Voice of the Customer: translate pharmaceutical requirements into actionable priorities.
• Regulatory Guidance: advise on cGMP, validation, supplier qualification, documentation, and change control.
• Commercialization & Product Strategy: input to roadmaps and launch readiness.
• Market Execution: develop market strategies for pharma and bioproducts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: nurture relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, labs, and partners.
• Technical Evaluations: support trials, evaluations, and conferences.
• Cross-Functional Go-to-Market: collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Ops, Supply Chain, Marketing.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: conduct benchmarking and identify growth opportunities.
• Channel & OEM Development: support early design-in opportunities.
• Executive Alignment: communicate priorities to leadership.
