YO IT Consulting is seeking an Excel Specialist on a contract basis for remote work. The role involves designing and simulating realistic business scenarios using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, mirroring tasks from professional experience.

You will engage in structured conversations with an LLM, evaluate AI-generated deliverables, and review Office documents to select the best output. Strong modeling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word on high‑impact business projects in Fortune 500 environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating complex models, reports, analyses, and presentations across industries.
• Background in roles such as private equity, investment banking, junior consultant, FP&A, HR, or marketing with hands‑on deal/project work.
• Proficiency in designing use cases for strategy, operations, sales, marketing, finance, or HR.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate challenging, realistic business scenarios requiring expert Excel/PowerPoint/Word use.
• Engage in structured, multi‑turn conversations with an LLM, presenting prompts and evaluating AI deliverables.
• Create and review Office documents (.xlsx, .docx, .pptx), assessing AI outputs against standards and selecting the preferred output.
• Document feedback with detailed, side‑by‑side preference data to inform AI model improvements.
• Contribute domain‑specific insight across industries and business functions, ensuring data covers real‑world use cases.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats to ensure precise understanding and actionable feedback for the AI training team.
