Job summary

Paddle is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Subscriptions team to lead the core recurring revenue engine. You’ll shape the roadmap, empower a cross‑functional squad of 4–6 engineers and a product manager, and scale the platform handling plans, upgrades, downgrades, prorations and billing schedules across multi‑currency payouts.

Qualifications

• Proven 2+ years of management experience leading engineers.
• Experience building or scaling subscription or recurring billing systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Payments, transfers and financial reconciliation knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 4–6 engineers and a product manager.
• Own technical strategy and roadmap for the subscriptions product area.
• Champion reliability, scalability and best-practice development.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and risk teams to align on goals.
• Mentor engineers and grow talent within the team.
