Job summary
Aviva Engineering Services is seeking an Engineer Surveyor for a home-based role covering Cork city and surrounding area. You will manage a portfolio of customers, deliver statutory inspections across lifting, pressure and electrical plant, and provide practical engineering insight to support safety and underwriting decisions.

Qualifications
- Engineering qualification, accreditation or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in inspection, with lifting equipment inspection essential.
- Understanding of defects, deterioration and risk assessment principles.
- Ability to build customer relationships and manage workload independently.
- Full clean driving licence and proficiency with digital tools (MS Office).
Responsibilities
- Deliver statutory inspections across lifting, pressure and electrical plant.
- Plan and complete inspections safely within agreed timescales.
- Identify engineering risks for customers and underwriters.
- Complete specialist assessments including pre-purchase inspections.
- Produce inspection reports using Aviva's digital systems.
