Job summary

Watt Footprint Ltd in Ireland is seeking an Energy Engineer to lead energy efficiency feasibility studies, energy audits, and M&V projects for clients. The role emphasizes hands-on building services and ISO standards, with IPMVP/CEM qualifications preferred.

You will coordinate with contractors for site visits, develop financial justifications, and present proposals to clients while maintaining strong stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Energy, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering for building services, M&V, or energy efficiency.
• Ideally certified in IPMVP/CEM with a proven track record in Energy Management and Efficiency Energy Audits.
• Exceptional attention to detail and adept client management skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working autonomously with strong initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, proficient in Office 365 tools.
• Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a keen interest in developing the next generation of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Complete energy audits and feasibility studies for our clients (SI426, ESG, ISO 50001, and 14001).
• Coordinate with contractors for site visits and accurate project quotations.
• Develop robust financial justifications for proposed energy efficiency projects and present project proposals to clients.
• Engage directly with clients in meetings and manage crucial stakeholder relationships.
