Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking an Automation Applications Engineer to manage customer requirements and project proposals. This role will oversee developing budgets and aligning concepts to create custom systems, emphasizing customer collaboration and technical alignment.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering, experience in the automation industry, and strong CAD skills. This position is field-based in Southern Ireland but will be fully remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the automation industry, ideally within Life Sciences.
• Experience in quoting and sales roles.
• Ability to read mechanical design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer requirements and project proposal development.
• Engage with customers to define requirements and generate concepts.
• Own full proposal lifecycle including technical solution design.
